Conveniently store grit / salt over winter with our 400 litre / 500 kg capacity grit bin. High vis, robust and watertight, this grit bin allows you to clear snow and ice from paths, car parks and driveways.
The low front edge makes it easy to lift bags of rock salt into the bin. Also, the sloped lid prevents snow from settling on top.
This grit salt bin can be moved by one or two people when empty, or when full of rock salt can be transported using the forklift channels moulded into the base. Over spring and summer when not in use, it can be stacked to save storage space, or repurposed to store spill kits, tools and other equipment.
We offer a range of convenient extras, including a telescopic shovel and 500 Kg of white or brown salt.
You can fit around 20 bags of 25 kg rock salt or de-icing salt in this grit bin.
