Our range of stackable part-recycled grit bins have proven very popular due to their high-quality construction and affordability. They provide an eco-friendly option for the storage of grit / salt on residential and commercial premises.
This grit bin has a black base made from recycled material and comes supplied with a yellow angled lid which prevents snow and ice from settling on top of the bin, ensuring ease of use in winter weather. The black material is the same quality as our non-recycled grit bins and will not discolour or deteriorate through long term exposure to the elements.

Channels are included in the design to allow it to be easily manoeuvred with a forklift / pallet truck. This ensures it can be easily positioned, even when full of rock salt.
The stackable design offers compact storage during the summer months when not being used for storing grit / salt.
Optional Extras
To keep your stock of grit salt safe and secure from theft, 2 x optional factory fitted hasp and staples are available (padlocks not included).
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

A telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which allows you to fasten the shovel to the inside of the grit bin for convenient storage. (This does not come pre-fitted to the grit bin, and requires assembly.)
To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 200kg (8 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white salt.
