The 400 litre Grit Salt Bin is ideal for storing de-icing salt and grit at locations where large areas require salting. Manufactured in the UK from UV stabilised Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), this bin will not discolour due to sun exposure and can be kept outdoors year-round.

The 400-litre grit bins are inter-stackable making them an ideal option for storage throughout the summer months when not in use. They also feature an extra strong lid with double wall edges to prevent damage or deterioration.
Each Grit Bin features a ‘Grit Salt’ label moulded into the lid of the bin, along with channels for lifting either with a pallet truck or a forklift. This ensures the bins can be easily moved even when fully-stocked with grit salt.
Optional extras
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

To ensure you are prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 350 kg (14 x 25 kg bags) of either brown or white salt. Please note that if you add grit salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the grit bin. 10-15 working days.
